Configuration

Configurations allow you to tailor the Activity Type experience and reduce repetitive setup. You can also restrict specific fields such as additional information, activity owner, or location.

Accessing Activity Type Configurations

• Navigate to Administration Configurations
• Select “Activity” from the Menu
• Select “Activity Types” from the Menu
• Create/Select an Activity Type from the Page
• Select “Configuration” from the Menu

Activity Tags

Activity tags help manage and categorise activity records. Tags created here can be selected by Activity Owners on their activities and also then be used by Activity Officers for reporting and filtering. Create a list of tags and order them by importance.

Activity Visibility

Control how information sections are displayed on Bilby public pages. The following visibility options are available:

1. Publicly Visible – Anyone can see this content, no login required.
2. Guest and Members – Only users with verified accounts can see this content.
3. Members Only – Only users with an active membership can view this information.
4. Never Visible – The information will not appear publicly.

Image Config

For recurring or static events, you can upload a default image for this Activity Type. This image will appear on all related activities unless an override image is supplied by the activity owner.

Address Config

If the activity takes place at a fixed location (e.g., a meeting venue), you can set a default address or map location. This will lock the activity type to that location and prevent it from being changed by activity owners.
