When you create a new User Type, you define the information Bilby should capture when users register for an account.
Accessing User Types
- Navigate to the Administration Configurations
- Select “User Config” from the Menu
- Select “User Types” from the Menu
- Create or Update User Types on the Page
About User Types
In Bilby, having at least one User Type is essential. User Types allow you to specify custom fields that are associated with user accounts.
For example, a bushwalking club might require users to provide emergency contact details during registration.
Bilby displays the User Type Description to users when they are signed into their accounts. This can be a helpful place to share important information specific to their account type.
