Activity Management

In some cases, clubs allow trusted users to run activities on their behalf. This article covers general activity management.

Super Admin users and Activity Officers can create activities by default. For other users, some partners can grant access to activities. To check whether you have access, go to My Account and look for Activities in the sidebar menu.

If you can see Activities, select it to open the activities area. From there, look for the option to create a new activity.

INFO

If you don't have access to activities, send a help and support request to find out how you can run activities with your club.

Creating a new activity

Bilby only needs an activity title, a start date and an activity type to create an activity. Clubs can run several different types of activities.

Once you've created your activity, Bilby places it in Draft mode, unpublished.

Publishing an activity

To publish an activity, take it out of Draft mode. Select the change status button at the top of the page, then choose Open to public to start taking bookings. To limit the activity to Members only, select that option instead.

The activity will be published.

Cloning an activity

Once you've built up a database of activities you've run before, you can clone one to run it again. This copies all the activity's configuration across, saving you the extra work.

Find the More options button on the main activity details screen — it's the ellipsis (...) where the action buttons appear.

Select Clone activity, then choose the new start date.
